Football drill tops: a quick buying guide
A football drill top is a training top with a short zip at the neck – usually a quarter or half zip – that players wear for warm-ups and training sessions. It sits between a T-shirt and a jacket: slim enough to layer under a coat, warm enough to wear on its own on a mild day, and smart enough for everyday outfits.
Drill top, track jacket or training shirt?
- Drill top – quarter or half zip, pulled over the head, closer fit. Best as a mid-layer or on its own.
- Track jacket – full-length zip and a little more room. Best as an outer layer over a shirt.
- Training shirt – short-sleeved, no zip. Best for warm weather or under a jacket.

Current season and retro designs
This collection mixes new-season training wear for clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Liverpool, Barcelona and Arsenal with retro training tops from the 1990s, including Man Utd 1994, Arsenal 1995, Liverpool 1996, Inter Milan 1997 and Bayern Munich 1998.
How to choose your size
Lay a top that fits you well flat and measure across the chest from armpit to armpit, then compare it with the drill top chart on our size chart page (measurements in inches, from XS to XXL). Between sizes? Choose the larger size for a relaxed fit or layering, the smaller one for a closer fit.
How to wear a drill top
Wear it half-zipped over a plain T-shirt with straight jeans or joggers, layer it under a windbreaker on cold matchdays, or pair it with cargo trousers for a weekend look. See more ideas in how to style a football shirt.
Every drill top can be personalised with a name and number, and we deliver across Pakistan (5–7 business days) and internationally (10–15 business days).
